Its been almost 1 year of wedded bliss for this lovely couple! Yes I did say one year! I noticed when I was going through my blog I never posted their photos! Ahh.. Little Abby… She is just one of the happiest babies. This was her official/unofficial 3rd photoshoot with me. I say unofficial because the first time she was still in her mommy Ashley’s belly. She did so well during minus one little hiccup. She spit up all over her little Christmas outfit as soon as we set her down for her first photo of the day. No biggie though, she’s a baby were you really expecting anything different. But after little moment, she was a little angel. She loved the hats her mommy got her and wanted to keep them on during the full session. Check out some more of this little angels photos here.

The Parker family was super cute to shoot for. They had matching PJ sets… how can you not love matching PJ’s I mean really come on! Anyways the kids were just more than adorable and pretty well behaved for the most part. We shot these photos only 2 weeks shy of Christmas and some how I was able to get them done and to them before the holidays with enough time for them to still get their holiday greeting card out in the mail. How we pulled that off is simply a miracle… or maybe just a little Christmas magic. But anyways check out some more magical photos here…

Justin decided to do his photos for his senior year on a beautiful fall day. Yes I said fall. We shot his photos in October when the leaves were changing, the sun was shining and it was 70 degrees! Not what you would really expect from October but its Ohio so we just roll with it. It really turned out to be a great session. I had done his girlfriends session the year prior so he had a slight idea about just what he was getting himself into. No, I am kidding… I really just like to have fun at my session but I am sure some of my senior photo clients think man that girl is crazy! John is the brother of another senior, Chelsea of whom I shot photos for over the summer. John was suppose to take his photos on the same day as his sis but he ended up not being able to make it so we scheduled a beautiful fall session instead. She did though decide to join in at the end of his session for a few brother sister photos. At the beginning John was beyond nervous. He even told me, I don’t do this picture thing. But me being me, made jokes and lightened the mood a bit and by the end he was whipping out his own poses left and right. I am pretty sure he even stopped me and said, “Wait for it…. this is my GQ pose!” He was a great sport about the whole thing and in return has some great photos to prove it. Courtney has been a client of mine for a long time now. I have done many, many events for her and her family. This was the first time I got to shoot the whole family in some actual posed shots. They were absolutely wonderful as always. Courtney is such a planner. She knows what she wants and we usually are able to knock photos out pretty quick. If you don’t remember in my class of 2011 senior photos I shot some senior portraits for Faith. She already had a promise ring at the time from her boyfriend Zak. He came along for her senior session and we even got a few of them together then. Well, over the summer the made it official and got engaged. They are a super cute couple and just laugh and have a good time together. You can really tell that they are great for one another through their photos. I even more so got to see this through my interaction with them through out the shoot. They were both happy, laughing and playful during the entire thing. We went to Hinckley Lake where I actually shot the Carlson Family photos earlier in the day. They had a beautiful day. We couldn’t have asked for any better weather considering the weather from the day before. The lake, sun and sand were absolutely perfect. I later found out that this was the location where Zak popped the question to Faith. This I think will make their photos and session that much more meaningful. Congratulations to the both of you. I wish you nothing but the best!

Zaks mom came along for the shoot. We just had to involve her somehow!

The Carlson’s are actually a repeat client. I shot family photos for them last year around the same time of year. We did their first family session when their daughter was still a baby. Now she is growing up walking and super cute. Even though she really was not a fan of my camera, she warmed up to it towards the end. We decided to head out to Hinckley Lake this time since they had recently moved to Medina. I have heard a few people tell me about this place but this was my first time actually going. Let me tell you… we couldn’t have asked for a better day. The prior day it was cold, rainy and gloomy and I was worried that we would have to re-schedule the shoot if the weather didn’t change. However mother nature was on our side that day! It turned out to be absolutely gorgeous! Check out some of their photos from our beautiful day at Hinckley Lake.

So do you remember that Maternity client a few posts back named Ashley? Well, here is that little bundle of joy that came from that session. Abby is her name and she is super cute. I know I was a little behind posting Ashley’s first session but these photos are much more on time. They were shot only a few weeks ago. She did so well for her newborn sessions and mind you when I shot these she was only a mere 8 days old. I can’t wait to see how much she will have grown and changed by her three month session in December. The beginning stages are always where babies seem to make such drastic changes as they grow and learn. Here are a few photos from her newborn session. So to start off… Adam thank you for being one of the easiest guys to shoot this year! It’s pretty typical that senior photos are about the last thing on any senior guys mind. However for Adam he didn’t mind getting out there and getting a few portraits taken. He did great as far as just being relaxing and getting some photos taken. Mom was right there though to make sure he was doing a good job. No pressure right! These are only photos she has been waiting for since you were born because now you are growing up so fast and will soon be leaving to college and she will have to just look at your photos and remember those days of highschool.
